I have to be mindful of the music I listen to. Music is powerful and can be used as a form of manipulation This can happen with all genres: death metal, gangsta rap, mainstream pop music, even modern “praise and worship” used in evangelical churches Music can be used for evil or for good No one is above the ability to be manipulated by it I don’t limit my music consumption to “Jesus” music. Lots of secular music can be interpreted in a spiritual sense. I just have to make sure I’m not consuming anything that would dishonor Him Music can absolutely be a portal for the demonic, but it can also help us to feel things we otherwise wouldn’t in a positive sense Being mindful of what we listen to is essential to maintaining a virtuous mindset
