So many parallels between cooking and playing piano. I love to cook. It's become a meditative practice for me that soothes my spirit, clears my mind and feeds my body. At home in the kitchen cooking while having philosophical debates or listening to music is a peak life zone.

A few dozen parents and educators are outside Sip and Savor at 53rd and Hyde Park Blvd for a “parent take over” in response to a “teen takeover” that’s been rumored to be happening in the neighborhood later. Most of these people are wearing shirts from Kenwood Academy.
