Good morning from the Mountains of Appalachia. Today is Thursday, July 9th. The current temperature is 71°F with moderate rain. The expected high temperature is 80°F with continued rain. Gold is up. Silver is up. Bitcoin is up. The bankers in St. Louis are reporting the price of steaks are up. Hog futures are up. Soybeans are down. Crude Futures are up. In town. Al at the hardware store has all plants and garden supplies on sale until they are gone. The Stockyards livestock auction on Friday, July 10th, starts promptly at 6PM. Eleven eggs in the basket this morning. The two stray pigs are still here. No one seems to be missing their pigs. Very strange. Coffee is ready. Have a cup. These tiny bouncy balls are hopping, climbing, and play-fighting to see who gets to claim the title of King (or Queen) of the Mountain this morning! From head-butting battles to epic leaps onto the highest hay bale, it’s pure joy watching their little legs fly. Good morning homies... "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit." -Will Durant We've all heard this quote many times. Most everyone would agree that it is true. Many of us have gotten to a point in life where we had had enough of the same old thing. Working hard, doing the right thing, trying our best to move forward in life and not getting the results we expected with the effort we put in. That is what started my journey to seeking out tools, regiments and systems to learn the ways the ultra successful used to become unstoppable in their quest for greatness and achievement. I absorbed hundreds of hours of discourse through various mediums of literature, videos and podcasts of people of the likes of Napoleon Hill, Jim Rohn, Tony Robbins and many more. In my own quest, I came across many quotes and affirmations, some of which I say every single morning, that these incredibly successful people all seemed to use in one way or another. As I applied what I learned, I began to see a reoccurring theme, a pattern that was unmistakable. Those things in which I said and did repeatedly came to pass. Some faster than others but the results manifested themselves nonetheless. I've written about neoroplasticity, the rewiring of your neoropathways in your brain many times. How science has proven that through repetition and belief, they work in synergy with one another. Then it dawned on me one day. Science didn't figure this out. God created it. And in His infinite wisdom and gracious love, He inspired people to write it down for us so we could discover it and apply it. In Joshua 1:8, God told him this, "Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful." Read that slowly again. It literally explains what we call neoroplasticity. He is giving Joshua the blueprint to becoming unstoppable and achieving greatness. He is telling him to take His Law, the mandates or ways we ought to be and how to live, the ways in which we ought to think, and know them like our lives depend on them. Because they do. To learn them as one studies for an exam. He tells him to meditate on it, which includes speaking these Truths aloud so your own ears hear it from your mouth, and to do it constantly and consistently throughout your waking hours. To do it with consistency and precision, being mindful of the exactness of His Truths. And in doing so, the results are prosperity and success in every aspect of your life. You can use the tools that man has derived to achieve a tremendous amount of success in your life. But it is missing the most important component of it. Eternity. More succinctly, your particular place in it. For Jesus said what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul? Do you want to become unstoppable? Do you want to become unshakable? Do you want to achieve greatness, success and prosperity with purpose driving it? Then turn your focus and attention onto God's Truth. Search the Scriptures. Read them and study them and hold them in your hearts and minds. Yes, use the tools that man has learned to harness great achievements. They are extremely helpful. And they do work. But first seek to align your will to the Father's. Submit your will to His. Meditate on His Word and glorify Him by serving His Son. For in doing so, He will open doors of opportunity that no man can shut. He will make your path straight. He will guide your every step on your journey to becoming unstoppable and unshakable. He will produce a harvest in you that you will not be able to contain. And when the time comes that you are asked how you did it, and it will, you will be able to point to the Father and tell people about the mighty work He has done in your life through His Son Jesus. All glory and honor be to God the Father and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Live well my friends. 👊🦏
