2026 is here and there seems to be an #AI apocalypse adjacent situation brewing, i.e., entry level job loss, a growing energy/pollution crisis, the looming existential threat of ASI, rise of AI psychosis. Next, the robots are coming. What should we do at this critical juncture?

@AdriansCryptoo Yeah for now... I feel like my brain is splitting in so many different directions as AI 10Xs my capabilities in neuroscience research. But I also feel that much more stress. Then again, this is a manuscript submission to coauthors day, so worse than most!

Working with AI = telling it what to do vs. doing. More of a director role, still intellectually in charge, but how long till we are just approving stuff that's better than we can do? (for writing, we are not here yet).

@Rayg0821 It's weird because the first couple days using opus 4.7 I still got 3 hours per session, vs 20 min. They are going to lose their user base if they don't fix this.

@DrMetaMind Same reason they haven't released Mythos. They don't have the chips needed for the compute to run the models at scale.

I pay for Claude at $20 tier. Today I hit session limit in 20 min vs. the usual 3 hours... WTF is going on? I was also alarmed to see some sort of weekly limit now???

@graceelizh Not a therapist, just my opinion as a neuroscientist: I have noticed a rise in this type of woman, rude, selfish, eternally the victim, practiced at DARVO. I believe ADHD is sometimes smokescreen for the real issue, Borderline Personality Disorder, which carries a greater stigma.

I have a simple rule of what I want out of returning player seasons on reality TV: As many scenes as possible of just watching people interacting who I could only dream about talking to one another It's safe to say #Survivor50 has more than delivered on that so far
