3 Asia, 2 EU, 2 Americas, 1 APAC would be the optimal in my opinion

Only 8 teams in the partner program, going to be insanely competitive for those spots. Hoping to see at least 1 from each major region (Americas, APAC, EMEA, and Asia).
Good thing with only 8 teams is it leaves 24 spots for qualification to PGS events. I

Got a nice surprise. Turns out it was an ECU issue, injector wasn't closing properly so flooded the engine and the sump, hence making all the signs of a fuel pump failure.
Car is going again, but the same problem could repeat itself. Not sure what I'll do moving forward.

Well, I don't even know what to write at this point. Fairly sure my engine has blown up, likely terminal. Proper diagnostic check tomorrow, but at a glance they think it's the diesel pump which is like $6500 + $2500 labour min. Genuinely devastated as I spent everything on this.

@Qu1ckdraw_ Surely not on top of, unless it's a multi stage partner thing. Global partners for PGS quals and skins, then maybe regionally partners for invites to other events grand finals or something
Just seems crazy if it's on top of given there's already 8 partner teams in EU.

I worried they'd opt for 12-16 partner teams and there wouldn't be many spots for quali, this way we should still see the top 4 teams from each region in attendance.
Will be curious to see if the teams picked for partner have an impact on quali spots assigned to their region.

When it broke it just sorta made a grating noise and shit load of white smoke came out it.

@MoeycQ Yeah, the fuel pump, msot cars have em, this just happens to be a 3.2L diesel.

@xGuruPubg Turns out it wasn't what the original diagnosis said, but unfortunately the original disagnosed failure tends not to be covered as its not something predictable or preventable, it can happen randomly, especially with a car that has 360k+ on it. It'd be a hard to claim on law 😓

@MySquishy28 It's not your fault, I had plans to meet some friends in Cairns this Thursday and Friday so was in a rush to get there. Was going to do a lot of stops on my way back down the coast so was going to flick you a message when I get back to near you 😊

@sugarcrystalls @Evycide Do it, or buy some plastic wrap, like what you can get for cars. Infinitely cheaper and if you get it done properly it can look clean af with any pattern you desire

@Evycide Unfortunately not that covers it all, warranty would put some money towards the repairs, but it'd only be like $2000 which leaves me $7k+ to sort which just ain't worth it for this car 😓
