I went 4 days without my phone and here’s everything I discovered. First- The US and Iran are VERY far away. Like… extremely far 😭 2- 24 hours in a day is actually long. It’s enough time to get stuff done when you are not scrolling 3- I realized I can finish a book in just two days… which is crazy, cause I usually take forever 4- There are a lot of things we don’t remember. A lot we don’t even allow our minds to think about… because we’re constantly distracted. 5- You definitely do NOT need your phone in the toilet guys. Try a book. 6 - Conversations just feel more real. 7- You talk to yourself a lot. Question things more, your actions, reactions… and alot of reflection 8- You feel invincible, like a super hero of some sort.. can’t explain it you will have to experience it yourself… I recommend this to everyone. It’s… honestly peaceful. Like a reset, and reminder of what actually matters.

So the back story... 1/4 A locum Periop Nurse who is also an ADNS in a govt hospital came to work in my facility (private) as the guest surgeon prefers her to scrub for him, so I was the circulating Nurse for the procedure. I was seated and heard "hello, hellooooo".

I am more worried about a patient with a low blood pressure than a patient with a high blood pressure. Both are worrisome, but with hypotension, I will definitely be on my feet 👣.
