A hybrid parliamentary system could see governments changing every other day whenever powerful businessmen, political elites, or interest groups become unhappy. That creates instability, weakens investor confidence, and turns governance into a constant political game.
It is the worst form of governance for a country where too many politicians and businessmen are driven by personal interests rather than ethics, morality, and national responsibility. This is not the UK/Europe.
Maldives needs a system built for our own realities, one that safeguards stability and long-term progress.

The life of this innocent 21 year old Asham is being destroyed before it has even truly begun, all at the hands of murderer and HDC director Isu.
Asham comes from a poor family on a small island. He is barely making ends meet, yet he has a good heart and dreams of building a decent, honest life. He has a job too. He has never been involved in crime. All he wanted was a simple, peaceful moment with his girlfriend, watching the sunset. Instead, Isu intervened and attacked him.
It was Isu who started the violence. When Asham’s girlfriend called the police for help, Isu violated her right in front of him. We are talking about a 21 year old young man. What decent man could be expected to stand by and do nothing while another man assaults his girl? No man with any honour could.

Update This is an actual murderer living in plain sight, paid 45,000 MVR a month from taxpayers’ money. He has now started attacking innocent civilians who are simply riding around Hulhumale to enjoy the sunset. This guy is extremely dangerous. I urge all girls and women never to go alone or even in groups of girls to empty areas like Farukolhufushi to watch the sunset or sunrise. Murderers like Isu are controlling these places and are ready to violate you and do far worse. This is exactly what he did when a girl went there with a male friend.
