On the 28th of March, 2023 the governing board of the Kogi State Enterpise Development Agency (KEDA) met for the first meeting of the year. Part of my recommendations to the management of the agency is that it leverages on multi sector partnerships for successful programming.

God sparing my life, I will be one of the global leaders speaking at the TRT World Forum in Istanbul, Turkey, between October 31 and November 1, 2025. If you are in Istanbul during that time, you are cordially invited. The TRT World Forum is an annual global event that attracts leaders and thinkers from around the world to Istanbul, Turkey, to deliberate on humanity's challenges and propose solutions.

Let Us Respect The Facts In The Case Involving AriseTV's Somtochukwu Maduagwu After listening to the account of the Commissioner of Police for the Federal Capital Territory, Ajao Adewale, about the incidents that led to the unfortunate death of AriseTV news anchor, Somtochukwu Christelle Maduagwu, one can see how fake news spread by enemies of Nigeria, seeking to capitalise on a human tragedy, can one day ignite social unrest and crisis. First, it is now known that the claims that the police vehicle that responded to the emergency did not have fuel in its car are false. Secondly, it was the police who took Miss Maduagwu to the hospital, contrary to media reports and social commentary claims that this was done by Good Samaritans and people who were being neighbourly. Thirdly, the hospital in question, Maitama General Hospital, did not reject her or ask for her ID or police report before treating her. How could they, when the police brought her to the facility? They initiated a CPR procedure on her, but could not revive her. Fourthly, the immediate cause of the death of Miss Maduagwu was not the robbery, though it is the remote cause. She died from injuries sustained after she jumped from her flat in a state of panic during the pendency of the dastardly robbery. In light of these fresh facts, perhaps those who had maligned the medical sector in general and the Maitama General Hospital while accusing them of contributing to Miss Maduagwu's death may want to reassess their positions. From every indication, the medical professionals at Maitama General Hospital acquitted themselves well in the case involving Miss Maduagwu and do not deserve the public ridicule they have received. If any news media has credible evidence suggesting that the report given by Commissioner of Police Ajao Adewale is not accurate, they should please provide it to the nation. Failing that, the media should not aggravate Miss Maduagwu's family's sufferings and undermine Nigeria's reputation by publishing innuendo, rumour and gossip about the event. Although this was an unfortunate and tragic circumstance, the facts of the matter do not justify the public opprobrium poured on the Nigeria Police Force and the Maitama General Hospital, as well as the claims that the victim died because Nigeria happened to her. The real enemy here is not the Nigerian Police Force or our medical personnel. It is the armed robbers who set off the unfortunate series of events leading to Somtochukwu Maduagwu's death, and we ought to have every confidence that they will be brought to book by our law enforcement officers. As I said yesterday, a robbery like this can occur anywhere in the world. Nigeria is neither immune to these types of incidents nor does it happen exclusively here. This story has travelled far and will still go farther. There is nothing to be gained either for the victim's family or for you and I if we use this sad incident as fodder to further de-market Nigeria. May the soul of Miss Somtochukwu Christelle Maduagwu rest in peace, and may God grant her family the fortitude to bear the loss they have suffered.

Abuja residents are the most stupid residents in Nigeria All they do is act like they are rich, and they pride themselves in "everyone minds their business" The most stupid people I've seen You will see a settlement with 50+ residential gated estates with each estate having a minimum of 20 residents. And what will you notice - No access roads - No street lights - No drainage - No nothing Just pure stupidity from those living there. How will you people live in gated estates and by all your fences are homeless bike men and drug dealers. Your neighbourhoods are filled with people who don't own a house there. Everyday in these estates, people's car batteries are stolen. Generators are stolen etc. They know that the thieves are those homeless people who build makeshifts by their fences to sell weed and meth. They know. But because some of these useless residents in the estates also take meth and weed that they buy from these boys, they let them hang around. You have a settlement of 50+ estates and no estate is in any association or group with another. Everyone of them just touched like 100 - 500 million and they start acting rich. Rich to the point that you don't have a tarred access road. Rich to the point that you can't park your car and sleep. You can't go home at night with your mind at ease because there are no streetlights and you are scared of getting jacked. Abuja people are conditioned to believe they have money when they don't have money. They are conditioned to feel special when they are not special. Very stupid people. That's why the smallest nonsense happens here Solution? - Demolish all makeshifts attached to all fences in all estate neighborhoods - If there must be bikes in a neighborhood. All estates must come together and verify the drivers, give them uniforms and tax them 3000 naira a day and also fix fare prices for them - Invite a bank or PE to come construct roads and last mile services for a toll permit of 20 years at least - Set up a task force to enforce all estate regulations. Every estate must have cameras and an alarm system or else they are fined and punished - The banks and PEs will either contract a private security firm that's allowed to bear arms or they bring in armed civil defence officials to mount every 1km around the whole environment - Entry into these neighborhoods will be controlled. Known entries. Known exits. - Enforce speed limit with cool bumps. - completely stop road side trading. If you're not renting a shop in a plaza to sell. Then leave. You're hurting those putting in money to rent the shops. And you're causing holdup Do these and the security around these environments will increase massively.

@AJ_Daniel6 @GWR @hildabacicooks @grok @grok Is it really a “World Record” if Jollof is only eaten in Nigeria & few West African countries? No global contest, no real category. An Indian chef cooking the biggest biryani isn’t breaking world record either. That’s winning your local league, not the World Cup.

Pastor Nathaniel Bassey will be pressing charges against four people who accused him of fathering Mercy Chinwo's child. I am pleased. It is time for gospel artistes to start taking the legal route. I hope someone is either jailed, or made to pay a huge sum.
