I'd be very pleasantly surprised if the GOP Senate publicly nuked Trump's highest-profile nominee 3 months after the largest GOP victory in a generation. A lot of them talk tough as a way of trying to kill the nomination, but if he gets to a hearing, he's in and Trump knows this.
