@MikeSBlades @droneanalyst DOI currently has over 300 3DRs in service supporting a wide range of activities including tactical wildfire suppression. My guess is that the new order reflects the fact that there is no significant domestic alternative. DOI was one of the first to raise the DJI EULA issue.

Yes, but there’s been well-documented issues where the #drone GPS system sometimes failed to connect correctly to ensure stable flight, causing the drone to fly away or crash. What's ironic is DOI has documented similar issues, yet is still looking to buy. thedronegirl.com/2018/09/22/3dr…
