🤝 TOPPER TUESDAYS x DYNASTY CITADEL Trade Debate #1 📋 League Settings • 12 Team • Superflex • PPR • 0.75 TEP • 6 Pt Passing TD ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🏆 TEAM A (CONTENDER) Receives: - Lamar Jackson - Breece Hall - Mike Evans - Travis Kelce OR 📈 TEAM B (REBUILDER) Receives: - Jaxson Dart - Emeka Egbuka - Carnell Tate ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ There isn’t a “right” answer. A contender and a rebuilder should value this trade differently. 👇 Which side are you taking, and why? @TopDynastyTakes and I (@FF_Citadel) will each break down one side of the deal in the comments. @FF_Citadel This is the whole point. Rebuilders should want the young value side, contenders should want the weekly ceiling side. The mistake is using one answer for both teams. Same trade, totally different read depending on roster direction.

I think you’re underselling the value of elite difference-makers. Saying Dart is “comparable” to Lamar because of a stretch of production ignores the floor and ceiling Lamar has consistently provided. Lamar has multiple overall QB1 finishes on his résumé and gives you one of the biggest weekly advantages at the position. Dart may get there, but that’s still projection. I also don’t think you can just write off Mike Evans and Kelce because they’re older. If you can buy them for 2nds, great, but they still provide points that help win championships. A contender cares about points in the lineup, not just insulated value. Finally, dynasty championships are won by converting future value into current production at the right time. If adding Lamar, Breece, Evans, and Kelce materially increases your title odds this season, I’m making that move every time as a contender. You can always rebuild later, the championship window isn’t guaranteed.

I’m making this trade for the Dart Side even if I’m contending. You can buy Mike Evan’s and Kelce for 2nds so essentially you’re getting Breece n Lamar for Dart Tate n Egbuka not close you add these 1 year if that rentals to make the trade seems ok. Dart was putting up league winning numbers last year without Nabers so he is at least comparable to Lamar from a production standpoint

That’s a lot of value on the rebuilding side. I can get the argument that you’d want to invest in young players that can produce, and that package is exactly that. If I’m a rebuilder, this is the exact package I’d be looking for. Insulated value in young stars who can only appreciate in value.

@FF_Citadel My values actually have the rebuild side slightly ahead raw: Dart + Egbuka + Tate = 170.5 vs Lamar + Breece + Evans = 166.1. But Lamar is the best asset by a lot, so asset gap flips the read for contenders. And if Kelce is added, Team A clears easily.

As a contender, this feels pretty straightforward based on the eye test, though I’d love to see how your rankings quantify it @TopDynastyTakes. Looking strictly at projected production: Lamar Jackson > Jaxson Dart Mike Evans > Emeka Egbuka Breece Hall > Carnell Tate And if Kelce is included on top of that, it’s an even bigger win for the contending side. Championships are won by maximizing elite weekly ceilings, not preserving future value. I’d happily move Dart, Egbuka, and Tate if it significantly increases my odds of winning a title this season. That’s exactly the type of move contenders should be looking to make.

@FF_Citadel This is exactly the kind of trade where roster direction matters more than a simple winner. Team A is the contender push. Team B is the rebuild reset. Both can be right, but only if the team actually matches the side.

How much of a discount should you give someone taking over an orphan team? 🤔 There isn’t one answer for this. It depends on the roster, the draft capital… and whether future league dues have already been paid.🧵👇🏻

Late June and July is the most dangerous time for a dynasty manager. Boredom is a roster killer. When we get bored, we make trades for a quick dopamine hit, sacrificing long-term stability. Here is why sitting on your hands can be the best move. 🧵

There is an UNBELIEVABLE amount of depth at the QB position for fantasy football this year. I'm drafting QB late in the vast majority of my drafts. Here are 5 of my favorite targets👇 1. Trevor Lawrence

Building this helped me realize how soon the player pool becomes more about how you play the game than the players themselves. I have 10 QBs in here and even that felt like a lot. But do we really want the Rico Dowdle, Sutton, Addison types over: - Caleb Williams - Trevor Lawrence - Dak Prescott

📊 2025 WR Target Share vs. Current Dynasty WR Rank Jaxon Smith-Njigba — 35.9% (WR2) Ja’Marr Chase — 32.3% (WR1) Amon-Ra St. Brown — 31.3% (WR4) Drake London — 30.4% (WR8) Puka Nacua — 30.3% (WR3) Justin Jefferson — 30.3% (WR5) Wan’Dale Robinson — 29.6% (WR41) AJ Brown — 29.5% (WR23) Chris Olave — 29.4% (WR16) Zay Flowers — 29.1% (WR25) Rashee Rice — 28.7% (WR29) Tet McMillan — 25.4% (WR9) Davante Adams — 24.8% (WR50) Nico Collins — 24.6% (WR14) DeVonta Smith — 24.3% (WR17) A few things stand out: 📈 JSN led the NFL with a 35.9% target share. 🎯 Elite target earners continue to dominate dynasty value. The top six are all valued as top-8 dynasty WRs. 💎 Chris Olave (WR16) and Zay Flowers (WR25) continue to look undervalued. 💰 AJ Brown, Rashee Rice, Davante Adams, and Wan’Dale Robinson all stand out as strong buying opportunities for contenders. Who stands out to you?

🚨 Bhayshul Tuten Has A Real Path To Becoming A Dynasty Star Bhayshul Tuten is not a clean projection. That is what makes him interesting. If you only look at his rookie stat line: 83 carries, 307 rushing yards, 10 receptions, 79 receiving yards, and 7 total touchdowns. You probably walk away thinking “nice role player.” But that misses the point. Tuten was a fourth-round rookie stuck behind Travis Etienne, yet still found the end zone 7 times on just 93 offensive touches. That is the exact type of small-sample efficiency profile that can explode when the depth chart opens. (Jacksonville Jaguars) The comparison I keep coming back to is Chase Brown. Brown was not handed the Bengals backfield immediately. He had to wait behind Zack Moss, earn trust, flash on limited touches, and slowly force the team’s hand. Once the Bengals realized Brown was the more explosive option, the backfield flipped. Moss opened 2024 with the veteran role, but by the end of the season Brown had emerged as Cincinnati’s clear lead back, finishing with 1,350 scrimmage yards and 11 TDs. Tuten’s path could look similar. He does not need to be crowned in June. He needs to keep being the most explosive player in the room until Jacksonville has no choice. The athletic profile is real. Tuten is 5’9”, around 206-209 pounds, and ran a 4.32 at the NFL Combine. That was the fastest RB time in his class. He also posted a 40.5” vertical and 10’10” broad jump. This is not just “fast for fantasy Twitter.” This is legitimate game-breaking athleticism. (markbullock.substack.com) That matters because Jacksonville’s backfield is not locked up. Mike Clay projects Tuten for 237 carries, 992 rushing yards, 45 targets, 34 receptions, 250 receiving yards, 8 total TDs, and an RB24 finish. Chris Rodriguez is projected for 100 carries, while LeQuint Allen is projected for only 8 carries but 28 targets. (g.espncdn.com) That tells us two things. First, Clay already views Tuten as the favorite for the largest rushing role. Second, this is still not a true workhorse projection. That is where the upside lives. If Tuten simply hits Clay’s projection, he is a usable fantasy RB2. But if he turns 237 carries into 260+ touches, or if he earns more passing-down trust than expected, the ceiling changes quickly. The concern is obvious. Chris Rodriguez can steal early-down work. LeQuint Allen can steal passing-down work. Tuten also had ball-security concerns coming out of college, with multiple scouting reports flagging fumbles as an issue. But the bull case is stronger than people want to admit. Tuten has the best athletic profile in the backfield. He already showed touchdown creation as a rookie. Etienne is gone. Jacksonville is projected for 8.5 wins with Trevor Lawrence, Liam Coen, and a top-half offense in Clay’s model. (g.espncdn.com) That is exactly the type of environment where an explosive RB can jump tiers fast. The real dynasty takeaway is this: Do not buy Tuten because you think he is already Chase Brown. Buy him because Chase Brown reminded us how these backfields can flip. Sometimes the veteran starts with the trust. Sometimes the pass-catching back has a role. Sometimes the explosive young RB has to wait. Then the talent wins. 🏰 Dynasty Citadel Verdict: Bhayshul Tuten is not risk-free. But if he earns the trust that Chase Brown eventually earned in Cincinnati, his current price will look silly. This is the exact type of RB bet that can go from “committee headache” to “dynasty riser” in one season.

I think a lot of fantasy football players, dynasty managers, and content creators are going to find it useful. Still cooking, but I can’t wait to share it with everyone soon 👀 🤞

KC Concepcion’s most likely outcome is his ceiling. My best comp for him would be Cooper Kupp. Stylistically, KC Concepcion reminds me a lot of Cooper Kupp. Neither wins with elite size or blazing speed. They win with route tempo, leverage, football IQ, and consistently creating separation. Reception Perception has long graded Kupp as one of the NFL’s best separators on slants, crossers, curls, and digs, and those are the same areas where KC consistently wins on film. Concepcion also forced missed tackles at a high rate in college, showing similar YAC ability through vision rather than pure explosiveness. He’s smaller and quicker than Kupp, so I’m not projecting the same career, but the way they uncover and become a quarterback’s security blanket is very similar. The comparison is about play style, not production.
