We're excited to introduce a significant update to the AMS aimed at reducing filament purge!💪 Our new "Long retraction when cut" feature can save up to 25% of filament purge volume during filament change. For now, this feature will be available as a public beta release in Bambu Studio, supporting Bambu PLA Basic and Bambu PETG Basic on X1-Carbon printers by default. We plan to expand compatibility to include all X/P series and other filaments in future updates. To experience this update firsthand, download the public beta version of Bambu Studio at [github.com/bambulab/Bambu…] and update your X1C printer to firmware version 1.07.03.00.
