In my building in London, there are 4 Pakistani families. Earlier, of the 8 adults, only 3 of us were not for PTI. Rest all supported PTI but not irrationally.
Now, all of them are saying they have to praise the way the country is being projected internationally , and agree IK couldn’t have done this. Though 3 of them still say they dislike both Sharif and Munir. If I ask them why they don’t really have a coherent answer.

Was recently talking to a friend who is a major player in Pakistan’s economy and industry - he’s actually a strong PTI supporter but not an irrational one After seeing recent developments and especially with the Islamabad Talks etc and Pakistan’s rising image on world stage and significant increase in its geostrategic value, the friend himself said that country needs a strong leader who can take it forward economically and that the Field Marshal may just be that very person — so what like Musharraf was when he took full charge Friend’s logic also was that the Field Marshal clearly has very good equations and relationships with major world leaders including especially the most important/powerful one Interesting this coming from an otherwise staunch PTI supporter
