#Faircoin #Roadmap 2022 - technical work package

FairCoin allows to adapt chain parameters during runtime without deploying new node software. To do so, five "chain angels" need to co-sign within a block. Today we successfully added two more who had contributed to the community in the last years. Now we are even more resilient!

Did you know that there are only 53,193,831.47 FAIR & there will never be more? With the change to the PoC algorithm, the energy-intensive mining & minting were abolished. Therefore the total supply = max supply, which makes #Faircoin also a good store of value in the long run.

@Polkadot is great for cross-chain projects. They claim to consume only 70MWh per year and to be the lowest energy consuming PoS #blockchain. We run FairCoin with just 1.7 MWh with PoC, independent of the number of active nodes and transactions. Looking into how to comnect both.

Who is a great speaker (with nuance) on DAOs?

@pospigos @ntnsndr @BiellaColeman @drajchristian @danmcquillan @schock Technically there are definitely similarities. The term PoA is misleading though, as there is no "authority" involved than the community in Faircoin. Therfore, Proof-of-Cooperation fits our case pretty well.

IMO they are technically identical- whether you are proving "community" or "authority" depends on your social context. Some @FairCoinTeam folks agree with me on this.
