@TheAthleticFC I mean it’s obvious no? FIFA is one of the slimiest most corrupt organizations in the world.
English

The Athletic's investigation into FIFA's questionable ticketing practices for this summer's World Cup uncovered a fresh point of controversy.
The governing body has created a new ticketing category to milk even more money from prime seats.
Those most disadvantaged? Buyers who have already paid.

@TheAthleticFC Barcelona must sign a top quality striker in the summer. Alvarez should be the top priority
English

Lamine Yamal caused havoc like he always does. Pau Cubarsi’s red card changed the game. Julian Alvarez’s free-kick was stunning.
But the biggest lesson for Barcelona in last night’s Champions League defeat by Atletico Madrid was their problems in attack.
With Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres struggling and Raphinha injured, can they hope to turn things around in Tuesday’s quarter-final second leg?

@TheAthleticFC The better team is losing. Barca don’t finish chances. Athleti does

@TouchlineX Football should have a video assistant referee to catch these errors

@BBCMOTD Havertz would know. He’s watched a lot of the games on TV for a great view

@footballontnt They are the favorites to win the champions league
English

@brfootball Sad for him. He would have been a great striker off the bench

Gabriel Martinelli is not expected to face further disciplinary action from the FA after pushing referee Sam Barrott during Arsenal’s FA Cup defeat to Southampton.
Martinelli was shown a yellow card in stoppage time of his side’s quarter-final loss on Saturday after pushing Barrott on the arm as he attempted to gather the ball and take a free kick quickly.
Given on-field referee Barrott took action during the game by cautioning the Brazil international, he is not expected to face any retrospective disciplinary sanctions from the FA.

@TheAthleticFC @MarkCarey93 The games longer than 35 mins. I guess that’s what went wrong
English

Manchester City were deserving winners against Liverpool, but Arne Slot's side were on par — if not the stronger side — for the opening 35 minutes.
So what went wrong?
