@meanderingtripe @OisinOhAlmhain @FixYourStreet Have had to switch off for now because govt-enforced req on councils to reply to FYS reports (we sent >85% of all the reports they ever got) died when they turned off FYS and now we have nowhere to deliver the reports for the time being

@OisinOhAlmhain The loss of @fixmyst (and @FixYourStreet, which I didn’t use) for reporting broken things to Irish local authorities can not be overstated. It pretty much just worked, with very little faffing around.

Why does the @DubCityCouncil reporting hub continue to be so useless on a mobile phone? Do they think we should all carry laptops around with us, or do they just not want us to report stuff? citizenhub.dublincity.ie/en/AchieveForm…

So we were about to reopen and then with less than 1 week of notice @FixYourStreet has been shut down and we have nowhere to send your reports for now. Because in Ireland it's ok to destroy civic infrastructure and blame someone else. Thanks, @DarraghOBrienTD !

@ProfLauraLundy I've used the FixMyStreet website with primary children to report issues in local area -very intuitive way of communicating & mapping issues to co councils.. It seems Irish website is now down? @FixMySt fixmystreet.com

So while I wasn't looking apparently over a dozen local authorities have decided without permission to ignore the govt's directive to respond to reports of broken street lighting made through @FixMySt and @FixYourStreet in 2 working days

@DCCbeta QRcodes suck, always, and nothing similar on a sign isn't better provided by gps. IMHO. Add something to that? Make an app

*sigh* Just watched us getting flamed by @fingalcoco members for something which @FixYourStreet does, and which we don't.

Rather annoying location bug on FixMyStreet.ie has been fixed. That's a relief.

I fixed my street with my phone thanks to fixmystreet.ie from the makers of KildareStreet.com
