Who’s round is it?

Yorkshire Rhubarb Trifle 👌 One of a trio of classic nostalgic puds on our menu. (Along with a sticky toffee pud and a crumble ❤️) Perfect way to end a meal in the pub.

Just one of the fascinating little stories we found when researching the history of The Foresters. We think the shop in question must be the Vape shop next door, former jewellery shop, records shop and a few other things down the years.

‘One day a wall was taken down and the large void behind it was crammed full of oyster shells discarded by the owners of the oyster shop next door, they must have had a large enough opening to just put shells through without having the bother of disposing of them else where.’

Bacon chop, chips n egg. A pub classic dialled up with the great pork we get from Moss Valley. Spot of brown sauce on this and you’re absolutely set. Oh ah.

Any lunch plans? All our snacks are 3for2 on lunchtimes Monday to Friday. So you could get this handsome handmade sausage roll, a Sheffield Fishcake and the Welsh rarebit and only pay for two of em. Not bad eh.

Here’s the food menu, had a few folk asking so have a gander! We’ll be starting Sunday Lunches in a few week once we’re settled in. Until then I’d be opting for that sausage n mash or the bacon chop on a day like today. But you do you.
