Uttarakhand CMO says - The portals of Badrinath Temple were opened for devotees on Thursday at 6:15 AM for the summer season, following traditional rituals and Vedic chanting. As soon as the doors opened, the entire Badrinath Dham was immersed in an atmosphere of deep devotion and spirituality. On this auspicious occasion, around 15,000 devotees from across the country and abroad offered prayers and received blessings by having darshan of Lord Badri Vishal and the eternal flame (Akhand Jyoti). On the sacred occasion of the opening ceremony, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami performed the first Mahabhishek Puja in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, praying for the prosperity, well-being, and happiness of the nation and the state. During his visit, he also offered prayers at the Lakshmi Temple, Ganesh Temple, and the shrine of Adi Guru Shankaracharya, along with other temples in the premises.
