Respect to Radko Gudas. Yes, it was a cheap hit on Matthews, but he entered the line up tonight after spraining an ankle, in a walking boot, just to pay the price. He didn’t throw 1 punch… that’s why I love hockey. Players police the game and it’s a code of honor.

My sophomore year, my coach - the great Norm Persin - told 15 year old me I “couldn’t guard a fucking snowman with no arms” in the middle of a game and broke his marker he was bashing it so hard on the clipboard as he screamed it into my face. I went on to be a 2x top 100 underclassmen showcase invitee, 2x all state, district player of the year, etc. after that moment. Yeah, I think kids could probably use a little more of this kind of coaching.

Husker fans have not only over taken Oklahoma City’s hotels, bars and restaurants, they also just overtook St. Joseph’s Old Cathedral for 4 pm mass. The priest couldn’t believe how much red was there. The church sat 700 people and was 85 percent Husker fans.
