Excited to say that Dr. Nik Allan and I received a $3M NIMH R01 to optimize the delivery of safety planning-type interventions (SPIs) in psychiatric inpatients by identifying contexts that signify SPI use is clinically indicated & conditions that potentiate/inhibit SPI efficacy.

As a disabled student, the current discourse around universities being “too accommodating” is SO frustrating to see. People don’t seem to understand how many hoops we have to jump through to get accommodations, and how burdensome and shameful the system makes us feel.
