@MozzarellaEvil It is! And it’s one of her pillar themes. Yharnam definitely breaks people more than physically, and ruining her strong faith in favor of raw survival is why Nandini “shed” her skin like a snake. She’ll always be the allegory of Parvati transforming into Durga.

I think the longer she stayed in Yharnam the less attached to her faith Nandini got, since she favoured survival and crushing vermin over her old life (including her gods).
