This mindset is exactly why so many people got burned and are now stuck with a -70% unrealized loss.
The system doesn’t care if you stay or leave. It has no emotions. And honestly, people moving in and out is often better for the system anyway because it creates fees, volume, and activity.
The whole “if this doesn’t happen I’m leaving” line is so silly. Leaving after what, exactly? ADA has already underperformed across the board and is sitting near its lowest value against BTC, still far below where it used to be.
All this says to me is that you spent years treating technology like a religion or political party. You convinced yourself that moving to another system, even when it made perfect economic sense, was some kind of betrayal. Now, after all that ideology, you’re finding out it meant nothing.
tbf, that kind of radicalization is almost built into this space. Holding alts for years takes the kind of blind faith people usually reserve for religion.
The difference is that God will save you.
A blockchain will never know you existed, never care that you stayed loyal, and never stop the market from taking everything you owned and leaving you with nothing.

if the cardano summit proposal passes this will be a huge negative sign for the ecosystem
but if it won't pass and cf/emurgo will not invest in organizing these events from their pockets, we are officially cooked
this is a good precedent for everyone who is still hesitates in making a leave/stay decision

Imo aster should distance themselves or they will be dragged along.
