Poilievre did publicly push direct flights to Punjab/Amritsar and said as PM he would “remove gatekeepers to allow faster immigration.” Now his message is much more restriction-focused. The real question is not whether he ever said these things. It is whether he believes in a principle or just adapts to whichever crowd is in front of him.
