Heard pm modi’s speech but to be honest The Women’s Reservation Bill was never really a mass demand you heard on the streets. It feels more like a top down political move than something people were actively pushing for. Building long term electoral hype around it may not be that easy. At the ground level, the “pradhan pati” reality still exists in many places, which raises questions about how meaningful representation actually plays out. For many, this kind of reservation seems more within reach of established political families than the average woman trying to enter politics. Overall, it doesn’t look like an issue the common voter strongly connects with, so stretching it into a major election narrative could be difficult.

प्रिय चायवालों, फतेहपुर में हमने आपमें से एक, जिस ‘आत्मनिर्भर आर्यन’ की दुकान पर प्रेमपूर्वक चाय पी थी उसकी चाय का सैंपल फूड सिक्योरिटी विभाग ने लेकर, आर्यन को ये धमकी दी है कि तुम एल्युमीनियम के बर्तन में चाय बनाते हो, तुम्हारी दुकान सील कर देंगे। शुक्र है ये नहीं कहा कि ‘लाल’ सिलेंडर पर बनाते हो तो सील कर देंगे, वैसे कह भी नहीं पाते क्योंकि सिलेंडर तो मिल नहीं रहा है। ये धमकी सिर्फ़ एक आर्यन को नहीं है, उन सब आर्यन को है जो महा-बेरोज़गारी के इस भाजपाई दौर में चाय बनाकर या अपना कोई छोटा-मोटा काम करके अपने पैरों पर खड़े होने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं। भाजपा किसी को नौकरी-रोज़गार तो देती नहीं है उसके विपरीत जो स्वयं अपनी मेहनत से कुछ करना चाहते हैं, उनको सिर्फ़ इसलिए धमकाती है क्योंकि हम जैसे लोग उनके काम को सम्मान देने के लिए, उनके कारोबार को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए, उनके पास चले जाते हैं। अब जब ये सरकारी विभाग का छोटापन, लखनऊ तक पहुँचेगा तो देखते हैं, इस कुकृत्य के लिए ऐसे अधिकारियों का निलंबन होता है या उनको इनाम दिया जाता है। फूड सिक्योरिटी विभाग कभी अपने भ्रष्टाचार का भी तो सैंपल ले। उस घूसखोर विभाग में महा-भ्रष्टाचार के जो बेहद बुरे हालात हैं, उसके आधार पर नाम बदलनेवालों को एक सुझाव ये है कि वो इस विभाग का नाम बदलकर सीधे ‘मिलावट विभाग’ ही कर दें या ‘भाजपा चंदा विभाग’। इससे पीड़ितों में ‘प्रीपेड पीड़ित’ के बाद ‘टी पीड़ित’ की एक और नई श्रेणी जुड़ गयी है। अब पूरे प्रदेश के चाय बेचनेवाले ‘पीडीए’ से जुड़ जाएंगे और एक नई चाय शुरू करेंगे जिसका नाम होगा ‘पीडीए टी’। भाजपा ने अपनी तुच्छ राजनीति को पाताल से भी नीचे ले जाकर खड़ा कर दिया है। घोर निंदनीय! हम हर छोटे-से-छोटे गुमटी-टपरीवाले, रेहड़ी-पटरी-फेरी-ठेलेवालों, साप्ताहिक हाट-सब्ज़ी बाज़ारवालों और हर छोटे-बड़े दुकानदार, काम कारोबार-कारख़ानेवालों की, अपनी रोज़ी-रोटी कमाने की सम्मानजनक कोशिश करनेवालों के साथ खड़े हैं और हमेशा रहेंगे। हम उन सबसे कहेंगे : मत डरिए, अपना काम करिए! चिंता न करें : बुरे दिन जानेवाले हैं! आपका अखिलेश #बुरे_दिन_जानेवाले_हैं विशेष : इस कु-समाचार के बारे में जब भाजपा के कट्टर समर्थकों तक को पता चलेगा तो वो भी बेहद शर्मिंदा होंगे, वैसे सत्ता का लाभ उठा रहे कुछ स्वार्थी लोगों के सिवाय भाजपा के समर्थक लोग अब कुछ ज़्यादा बचे ही नहीं हैं।
