SATURDAY RAIN CHANCE: Scattered rain and storms are expected overnight and very early Saturday morning. Don't be surprised if heavy rain, thunder and lightning wake you up overnight/very early Saturday morning! The rest of Saturday looks mainly dry minus a spotty shower or storm.

A broken line of storms along and behind a cold front will continue to push south across North and Central Texas through the remainder of today. Although the severe threat is on the lower end, isolated damaging wind gusts and hail will remain possible through this evening. #txwx

Tuesday Thunderstorm Timing: Late morning and through the afternoon, storms move through North Texas. Spots along the leading edge of these storms could have some 50-60mph winds and pea to quarter size hail. Not everyone sees severe weather. The severe risk ends in the evening.

After a period of precipitation-free conditions, rain chances will return to the region this weekend and continue into next week. A dryline will set up to our west in the afternoon, providing a focused area for thunderstorm activity. Expect more details in the coming days. #txwx

Temps climb each day this week as rain stays away. It'll be a quiet week following a rainy Mother's Day. The quiet pattern doesn't last long as an unsettled patter returns this weekend and next week. #wfaaweather
