More reminiscing… Year: 1996 Bankroll: $2500ish I was finally 21 and could stop using my brothers I.D to get in the casino. No better time for my 1st Vegas trip. Booked my room at Binions for WSOP and me and my buddy couldn’t get there soon enough. Threw my bags in the room and went to check out the action. @themouthmatusow & Scotty Nguyen were playing $20-$40 limit Holdem and I got on the list. Sparing the details, I blew $2000 of my money and had $400 left to last 4 days :( I don’t remember the rest of the trip, most of it was spent in my hotel room :(

@pamelam35 I’ve never walked in Vegas or Zona but back home (in Vancouver) we walk the course 90% of the time! Only during birthday scrambles and such when there might be lots of drinking involved will we ride!!!

I saw this on Threads and a common comment was… Golf. And the reasons were wild. Sometimes people project based on how golf was used, not what the game actually is. Sure, some use it to escape. That’s not golf’s fault. That’s avoidance. Others? Out there for sunshine, the challenge, peace, and maybe a cocktail or two. Golf’s not a red flag. It’s therapy with a backswing.
