The AHL referees struck again on Saturday night when they overturned a Hershey goal on a bad call, but that the most frustrating of many reasons the Bears lost a big game. bearshockeynation.wordpress.com/2026/03/29/lat…

Via the Bears website, King was told the referee thought the play was offsides and overrode the linesman, who called it correctly as onsides. As you can see, there are no guys in orange armbands in an appropriate spot to make such a call.

The worst part of that disallowed goal is that this game is stained now. If the Bears lose by a goal, that bad call has decided this or at least played a significant role in it.

@CJC_95 It’s mind boggling. There’s typically no way to even have this type of review in the AHL either. It truly just looks like a great play by Gucciardi with his hand eye coordination.
