This study uses advanced multivariate techniques to disentangle whether (and which) motor areas represent the beat that we feel in different rhythms. @HoddiNeuron is one to watch--multiple studies that build on this one are coming soon.
The final project of my PhD is now a preprint! We explored whether audio-only VS. audio-visual concert performances enhance engagement, as indexed by cardiorespiratory synchrony. This paper also disentangles whether music can synchronise heart rate and/or heartbeats 🫀🫁🎶 (1/5)
So, now that GRExit is over and the GRE is gone, is your program continuing conversations about reducing bias in graduate admissions? Is there a systematic evaluation of other practices, like letters of recommendation, access to prior lab experience, weighing UG institution?
