Many pensioners wouldn’t care less if the country crashes and burns, young people live 20 to a house and the birth rate completely stops, as long as they get their triple lock. No compromise with so many of them. Young people compromise constantly … There are more children in poverty than pensioners in poverty- do they care…🤔🤨

In 1991 35% of 16-24 year olds had a mortgage and bought their own home. Today it’s 1%. And absolutely nothing is being done to fix this.

Wow some of these boomers are so selfish and rude it’s disgusting. I thought they were the generation of manners and respect. Yes, unless you regularly look after your grandchildren I do expect you to sell a large house which you no longer need as it will: 1. Help your own children/grandchildren get on the ladder 2. Free up a house for a family who could really use it as we have a shortage of large house due flat builds 3. Free up all that equity for you to live on and enjoy. As boomers get older many will mostly use downstairs as stair usage gets harder anyway.

At 7.30pm, you are playing tennis with your friend Mark. At 9pm, you need to prep for a meeting at work the next day. I normally come home at 6pm. At 2pm, I text you that 'I've got to work late'. Do you see why you might want to know whether that means 7pm or 11pm?

This meme annoys the fuck out of me because it misunderstands invisible labour as stupidity. Women don’t ask “roughly when will you be home?” because we think you can predict the future. We ask because someone has to organise dinner, childcare, and the rest of the household around your absence.
