Labour are backtracking on a plan to help save birds: by blocking a new rule that would make developers put a £35 nest brick in every new home. They think it'll help win them votes - we need to show it would do the opposite. Sign the petition 38d.gs/zcpv

@C20Society @C20Cymru Congratulations on the Wrexham Waterworld listing. It's not, or wasn't, the only Wesh hypar roof. Ringland Club in Newport, Haberdashers' Monmouth School for Girls & Llanishen Bowls Club all had hypars in the 1960s

NEWS: C20 Society and C20 Cymru are celebrating the fifth Leisure Centre to be listed as a result of our ongoing nationwide campaign, and the first example to be designated in Wales, at Grade II. Wrexham Waterworld (1967-70) is characterised by its manta ray-like hyperbolic paraboloid roof, one of the largest ever built in the 20th century. ➡️c20society.org.uk/news/wrexham-w…

Key case 10 of 10 in #C20LeisureCentres Campaign: Wrexham Waterworld by Williamson Partners (1965-67) Believed to be the only hyperbolic paraboloid structure in Wales, Wexham's 'stingray' roofed leisure centre brought modernity to the principality. buff.ly/3dZJTmf

Print, publishing & typsetting types - I really need your help. In the 1980s/90s The Charlesworth Group had a corporate magazine, 'Viewpoint'. I'm studying the company history and want Viewpoint copies. I have No 5 & No 11. Do you have any more editions or know anyone who might?

@MetroTravelNews Yes the works are due to start on 21st. That should mean that the service will terminate at Paddock and return to Huddersfield. @FirstWestYorks's leaflet that informs drivers & is available from the Hudds bus station Metro office says that the service change starts on 14th 1/2

We had such great time getting married last year we did it all over again in Norfolk! The day was just perfect & couldnt have gone any better: the most stunning bride, great company, afternoon tea, 60s music, games, best pizza in Norfolk, Dixon's ice cream made for the best time
