Im just going to say it, the amount of things that this year EA missed with competitive apex is out of this world, whoever is in charge of these decisions have no idea what a real competitive envoirment is. prize lan split is one of the worst ive ever seen, teams literally lose money if they dont get top 20 at lan, even in the championship. there were teams, that, to be able to practice before the competition they literally had no money to eat for a few days, they chose to starve for a few days to be able to go after their dream, it's shamefull. no crowdfunding for major events splited evenly with teams to support the scene. throwing a tantrum over team cosmetics, if some teams werent happy with the deal, just don't work with them, the entire scene didn't had to pay for it. lans in the same spot, i don't remember the last triple A title that organized lans in the same spot for an entire year. game is literally broken, no competitor should've been forced to compete with the current state of the game, THERE IS NO SOUND most of the teamfights in the game. again NO SOUND... IN AN FPS... (game issues are normal in any game, forcing competitors to compete with those issues makes no sense mainly when these are game breaking issues. there is no competitive integrity right now in comp.) EA not realizing that pro players and content creators are at the core of what makes a multiplayer game sucessfull long term, offering little to no support. Without the big streamers this game would die in a heartbeat, and most of them are still around simply for the competitive experience this game still has to offer. I do not know who is behind these decisions, if it's a single person, a group of people, EA, Respawn, and to be fair, it doesn't really matter. At this point i wish apex was in other hands, riot or valve. Apex will not die, but it certainly will not reach it's full potential... not even close. Gl to all my fellow players in this game, i know how exausting and mentally stressfull all of this can be, atleast they got that right about having mental team to help for pros, they knew we would need it.
