She looked into the camera and said “I’m so sick of America.” And I felt that. Because this isn’t a lazy girl. This is a working girl. Up before the sun, showing up every day, doing everything she was told to do. And she’s rationing gas money and eating $2 worth of food for breakfast. Here’s what nobody wants to say out loud. 36% of Americans under 35 own a home. 42% of Gen Z lives paycheck to paycheck. 52% of Millennials are delaying marriage, kids, and every major life decision because they simply cannot afford them. The median net worth for someone in their 20s is $6,600. Six thousand six hundred dollars. That’s it. That’s a generation’s worth of effort reduced to a number that wouldn’t cover two months rent in most cities. She’s not sick of working. She’s sick of working and having nothing to show for it. She’s sick of a system that takes everything and gives back just enough to keep you showing up tomorrow. It never used to be like this. And we should all be a lot angrier than we are.

This man said this is what grinds his gears. His neighbors mow their yard but they always leave their grass clippings out in the street. 😳 He said they should be sweeping them up or blowing them back into their yard and if they don’t have a blower then use the lawnmower itself. I use a bag so I don’t ever have to worry about the clippings going everywhere. But not sure it would bother me that much if I saw my neighbor’s clippings. Luckily, I don’t have neighbors like this. Would this bother you? Do you have a neighbor or neighbors like this? Do you clean up your grass clippings or do you let the chips (clips) just fall where they may?

@mackay9pinky @Avabelly__ It takes 10 minutes to mow the lawn, you can quit bitching, eat and wait for him to be done. I know, that's a foreign concept for people like you but a little noise won't kill you. Get over yourself.

@Avabelly__ We would never do that, it’s inconsiderate. It shows he has no respect for his neighbors. The fence is short and wide open, be respectful. The grass can wait. Another hour or so won’t make a difference. It’s not always about you.

I know grass needs to be cut, and I’m not expecting the whole neighborhood to stay quiet. But starting the mower right at dinner time feels a little inconsiderate. We were just sitting down to eat, windows open, trying to enjoy the evening… and then all we could hear was the mower. It’s not the end of the world, but it definitely changes the mood fast. Would this bother you too, or do you think dinner time is fair game for mowing? I know grass needs to be cut, and I’m not expecting the whole neighborhood to stay quiet.
