Artista. O más bien intento serlo

DC really had something and somehow still fumbled it. You had actors locked in, a director who actually knew what he was building, not trying to resell his formula, and stories that didn’t treat the audience like idiots. It was near perfect, different. It had a voice. Actors were committed to the characters, they didn’t take the roles as mere contracts. They respected the audience and were whole heartedly in on it. Henry Cavill is still the quintessential Superman every corner of the world. Batfleck was astounding enough to replace Bale as the new Batman, so much so that Pattinson too lives in Batfleck’s shadow. (I love all three of them) . We had THE Wonder Woman, admired by dudes and ladies alike. The trinity was here. In our hands reach. Snyder’s stuff wasn’t trying to please everyone. It made you sit with it, argue about it, feel uneasy. It trusted you with discomfort. The same thing so called cinephiles glaze Fincher Tarantino etc for. That’s rare for superhero films. And then they panicked. Instead of backing their own vision, they started chasing Marvel, chopping things up, only so desperate to be Marvel-lite. They dropped the ball, walked away from something that was iconic.

The first voice you hear is James Gunn. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
