After four and a half years of incredible service to Newcastle United, we can confirm that Kieran Trippier will leave the club this summer when his contract expires.
Kieran arrived in January 2022 with the club in the relegation zone and played a crucial role as he went on to lift the club’s first domestic trophy in 70 years.

Jamaal Lascelles fought for Newcastle United when not many others would, standing up against a squad full of mercenaries during the relegation season to ultimately earn the captaincy under Rafa Benitez at just 22. 💫
After guiding us through some extremely tough times, Lascelles led #NUFC to an immediate promotion back to the Premier League in 2017. 📈
Who would have thought back then that he’d be pocketing one of the world’s best players in Kylian Mbappe against PSG in the Champions League at St. James’ Park just six years later, before lifting a major trophy at Wembley less than two years after that? 🏆
