There will be days where your bills and your 9 to 5 will take up more of your time than you want - just stay in the game. There will be days you get no impressions, replies, likes, nada - just stay in the game. There will be days where that X subscription doesn't look worth it - just stay in the game. There will be days you get criticised for what you post - just stay in the game. There will be days where markets dump and try and convince you to panic sell - just stay in the game. There will be days where self doubt overcomes all else, maybe you had a bad nights sleep - just stay in the game.

You don't have to become smarter but you can always become more strategic. Positioning yourself for the most upside should become second nature - just buy the surfboard, get in the water and just maybe you will catch a wave. You don't need to catch many.

There is only so many times you can tell yourself that you will figure out what you should be focusing on before the doubt creeps in that you may not come to an answer. Maybe jotting down thoughts is more of an exercise than it is a vehicle to reach a goal… and that’s ok. The wisest people do things just for the sake of doing them. The enjoyment is in the task.

@JamieRatesStuff i think your reflection on the ‘specific ask’ is spot on and super valuable specific = better so your humility in identifying this will lead to the next step, even if currently unclear

They say life will reward the specific ask - I guess my issue still is that I am not specific. Specific would be “I want 500 verified Followers” but that is not the whole truth, I don't just want any 500 followers - I want people who actually like me and my posts. Who want to engage. Chasing follows can suck and I know they say you have to grind through these harder periods and its true, but maybe the most enjoyable way through it - is to just post. Plain and Simple.🫡

chasing metrics is a good goal to set but overly defining what metrics are can lose sight of the real reason why you are doing it. Often the real reason to do almost anything escapes being definable by individual metrics. Why live life? What is the best life lived? Is it the number of achievements? Is it the least number of days stressed out? Is it having the most kids or having 1 kid who is fulfilled or adopting a kid who never got an opportunity without you stepping in. Is it not having any kids and just enjoying your time here? For a long time comfortable or a short time intensely? I have no idea

Thats what I was thibking too - just cause you posted it once doesnt mean you cant post it again later but slightly different, many accounts do that weekly The good thing about posting into the void is your giving yourself more material to use further down the line when you have that following. 🫡

It’s true, but what I don’t like about posting into the void is that some posts contain pretty good thoughts, and once I hit send - they’re out there forever. If only two people see it and it ends up in the post junkyard… I don’t know. Maybe I should start a bookmark list and repost the really solid ones later, once I have a more consistent follower circle... 🫣

Having a bunch of followers who are not interested in your content will destroy your reach. This is why random following backfires in the long-turn. Find your tribe, create content they want to see, and engage.

Is it even possible to plan to be 1 of 1? Do you just need to have enough faith in being yourself to the max, that you eventually get to a point where you stumble into a clearing and nobody else is there? AKA nobody can compete with you because you are so YOU it can't be copied.
