The Obama Axelrod Pope Leo backlash continues & I love it. Their miscalculation of planned division is one for the history books The world is now calling into question who the Pope is, why he was selected and why is a communist representing God's people? These questions are from Catholics too which makes this more of a miraculous blessing. The God of the universe revealing himself through these discussions is an answer to prayer for millions. Critical thinking = good Blind Allegiance = bad

I am Catholic, and it saddens me not to see Pope Leo XIV in Nigeria or the Congo denouncing the genocide of Christians, instead of getting into discussions with Trump about the war in Iran. We Catholics need a pope who addresses the suffering of Christians around the world, not a Democratic political activist who campaigns against Trump.

Regarding Pope Leo IV's ongoing simping for and evangelizing of Islam... I understand in this capacity these naively dangerous statements from this pope are not considered authoritative (or ex cathedra), but he is clearly abusing this privilege and on a mission to disarm what remains of the West. If he said these things as Robert Prevost, no one would care. IMO he is obviously using his capacity as the pope to spread this cultural suicide note, and doing so subversively so that discerning Catholics (who may rebuke him) instead feel compelled to defend his office by pointing out "he's not speaking for The Church" -- when it's pretty clear this pope intends to speak for that and a lot more. Bottom line: he's intentionally and subversively seeking a crevice here that permits him to speak with the authority of his office, while simultaneously permitting the claim he's not.

REPORTER: "There was a group of bishops that did put out a statement saying the Pope isn't merely exercising his opinion, he's preaching the Gospel. What do you say to people that do this?" PRESIDENT TRUMP: "I want him to preach the Gospel. I'm all about the Gospel. But I also know that you cannot let a certain country, which is a very mean-spirited country, have a nuclear weapon." "If they did, they would use it. And I think they use it quickly and they would kill many millions of people." "The Pope could disagree with me on that, but certainly we're allowed to have that. I'm all about the Gospel. I'm about it as much as anybody can be."

Trump went after the Pope and I thought, this president is not backing down from anyone. And you know what, there is a reason Donald Trump has dominated the news cycle for a decade and a half, survived everything they threw at him, had an election taken from him in 2020 and came back anyway. People like this do not show up by accident. I believe to my soul they are an answer to prayer. God chooses the rough ones exactly because they will do the hard job that the polished and proper will never touch. Samson was out there clubbing Philistines and the religious crowd wanted an elegant Isaiah in the palace courts. God sent a deliverer instead. He always does. And it never looks the way people expect.

Pope Leo grew up in Chicago. I grew up in Lebanon. I wasn't forced to leave Lebanon because there was peaceful coexistence. I was forced to leave Lebanon because Islamic terrorists blew up my home and killed many of the people I grew up with. I wish the Pope would talk to the persecuted Lebanese before making ignorant statements about countries he knows very little about.

🚨 PRESIDENT TRUMP JUST TOLD POPE LEO: "I'm all ABOUT the Gospel. I'm all about it as much as anybody can be!" "I want them to preach the gospel. But I also know that you cannot let a certain country, which is a very mean-spirited country, have a nuclear weapon." "If they did, they would use it, and I think they'd use it quickly, and they would kill many millions of people." "So, you know, the Pope could disagree with me on that, but certainly we're allowed to have that." "I can't allow, as President of the United States of America, I can't allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon." "And here's the story. They won't have. They've already agreed not to have. That's good news, and I think the Pope will be very happy."

Pope Leo XIV is now claiming that the fear of Muslims in Europe is brought on by people who are anti-immigration, not because of the thousands of women being raped and murdered across Europe by immigrants. This is literally a Barack Hussain Obama scripted talking point!

🚨 PRESIDENT TRUMP JUST NAILED IT: "The Pope has to understand that — it's very simple. I have nothing against the Pope." "I have to do WHAT'S RIGHT." "His brother is MAGA all the way!" "I'm not fighting with him. The Pope made a statement. He says Iran can have a nuclear weapon." "I say Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. And if the Pope looked at the 42,000 people that were killed over the last two or three months as a protester with no weapons, no nothing — I mean, you take a look at that. So I can disagree with the Pope. I have a right to disagree."

The Pope is now pushing for Europeans to embrace Muslim immigration and conquest of their countries, by pointing to Lebanon as an example. That's altogether backwards. Lebanon is the case study for what happens when Muslims gain control and persecute, harass, and drive out Christians. In the 1920s/30s, Lebanon was ~70% Christian, now it's just 30%. Does he see the reconquest of Spain by Christians defeating Muslim invaders as a historical tragedy?
Bonchie@bonchieredstate

The fact that he keeps using Lebanon as a positive example of Muslims and Christians living together, when the Christian population there has been persecuted and reduced to just 30% of the country, is an issue. He seems to always grade Islam on a curve.
