@lexbienneluthor It really…isn’t? Lilo isn’t being given up to the states. She’s getting to live with her neighbors she known for ages. Practically like family. And Nani STILL COMES OVER VIA THE PORTAL GUN! So she does NOT abandon her. Respectfully, I think we saw different movies

@arwatson714 Exactly!!! People tend to misinterpret the ending to either prove a point, sound smart, or dare I say a lack of media literacy. Do I prefer the original? Yes. Is the new one bad? No. It is perfectly fine and folks need to chill

It also doesn't help I've seen people attack the director and people involved with the film as well as making fun of people liking it. Even had to put up with some nasty death threats a while back. It makes me want to keep arms length from the Stitch IP, Original and Live Action.

Really irritates me that a lot of people are being harsh on this film due to out of context clips and bad faith reviewers who miss the point of the movie entirely. O'hana is still there, the message is still there. It's just different! And that's not a bad thing!
