@elonmusk @AlecStapp Very true. 1% fed spending on dialysis, innovation’s been stifled w outdated payment policy. Breakthrough drugs SGLT2i & GLP1a slow/prevent progression to dialysis. (Eg model low price Rx like@VA) Also can incr kidney transplants via system overhaul (HRSA tasked w this now)

@AlecStapp Making GLP inhibitors super affordable seems like it would help in so many ways, but perhaps especially regarding the need for dialysis. “Just eat healthier” isn’t realistic for most people.
