It’s nice when the players do the basics, show heart, play for themselves and for the badge, then get clapped off the pitch. But apparently we are just moaners and ungrateful. Hopefully we can build from here. Was nice for Tel’s confidence to clapped off when subbed too.

Spurs’ most experienced and accomplished players have been nowhere to be seen Romero & Van De Ven suspended for stupid reasons, Porro throwing his toys out the pram after being subbed The ‘leaders’ aren’t there for their teammates to rely on and the results are a blatant consequence of that All the bright sparks in recent games have come through the younger players. Archie Gray (19) is growing in confidence and has shown more personality than anyone else and Mathys Tel (20) looks lively whenever he gets the ball the youth are putting their elders to shame.

@Kish_P14 Tend to agree with you, would have given him another season but personally think losing Chris Davies was a big blow for him tactically and he doubled down. Special talker, can imagine players loving him and with the right investment, who knows what he could achieve.

@NathanAClark I mean fair! For me it shows that some players are better than performances suggest and that's on the manager but good to think that with Xavi, Solanke, Udogie, Gray ect it's not all doom and gloom. Won't be thinking about them down the road.
