@Caroline_Bartma @kc_palozola Also don’t expect to jump back in full force. I came back just for the lab stuff only for the first few weeks and kept my ooo message up for a few weeks longer to prioritize the science when my bandwidth was limited. Best decision ever.

@Caroline_Bartma My lab came up with some casual lab meeting plans for my ~8 week absence. Like an informal journal club day and a troubleshooting round table. I take zero credit (postdoc @kc_palozola led the charge and I wasn’t there!) But it helped keep the science moving and kept spirits up.
