Racist whites & ignorant blacks in the comments section... reminding me/us why there is still so much inequality in SA & why it will take a long time for us to progress together.
These are the reasons why the black majority remain poor & why some white ppl go nowhere. Tragic.
It is thanks to rugby quotas that phenomenal players like Ox Nche get to be picked on MERIT.
Players like Cheslin Kolbe. Players like Siya Kolisi.
I played rugby throughout school & tertiary, and to this day, racism is still rife. Most black players you see being picked on merit today would never have gotten a chance if the system did not force inclusion back then.
White South Africans need to understand that they must help empower Black South Africans if they want to be world winners... in anything!!!
One day, our economy will be at stake... and if White South Africans have not assisted previously disadvantaged peoples to properly engage in the mainstream economy... the country will get wiped out.
Share land. Transfer skills. Fund small businesses. Befriend black people. Do your bit to unearth the economic & social Siya Kolisis and Ox Nches in this country.
Shoutout to Rassie Erasmus & Jacques Nienaber for actually understanding this. And for doing the right thing so effortlessly.
Let's build a Springbok economy.
Let's build a Springbok society.
It starts with you.
Scrum discussion:
🗣 "By giving a penalty where you can take 3 points or kick for touch and maul, you are incentivising scrummaging to get the penalty!"
🗣 "World Rugby have to make a decision. Do we want the scrum to be the focal point of our game?"

Bench: Bongi, Nyakane, Lood, Kwagga, Faf, de Allende, Cannan,
Properly beaten today but pretty happy with the fight back,I know refs don’t dig us but we got no 50/50’s today which is worrying, the phantom player not rolling away when Kwagga stole the ball, the scrum pens.Boks are gonna have to be in perfect form every weekend to overcome this
@rugby_ap Unbelievable decisions in this half from all the officials! The most one sided I have seen in a long while. All 50/50 decisions to the All Blacks. Knock ons missed, you need one finger on a ball to score, very short advantage etc, etc
