Today in our science lesson, we have been talking about micro climates and the habitats of insects in our school grounds. Here are some of the habitats we found.

We have been busy and have enjoyed working on Maths division using small sticks. Thank you for your hard work making the beautiful dream jars! Enjoy your half term everyone!

We have had a very busy week rehearsing and performing The Emerald Crown musical . We are so proud of your achievements ! Today we made some mazes out of sticks in the woods .

What a cold and challenging weather week for us all in 4SR. We’re so very proud of how you have settled down to some great work. Here are the children performing the poem ‘The Spider and the Fly’ by Mary Hewitt.

What wonderful musicians we have in 4SR! We enjoyed listening to the performances and having a little dance .

Y4SR have had a day full of fun and it was topped off with a pantomime this afternoon. “He’s behind you!” What fun! 😁

We have been busy busy busy today! We have collected sticks and foliage to make a triangle wreath for Christmas!

Today we made little mice with tails and took them into the woods to make them mouse houses! Some imaginative and cute houses were created using natural materials . Well done everyone!

Some children in 4SR had fun dancing for Children in Need this morning!

What a wonderful residential we had @MountCookCentre. 48 hours packed full of fun, facts, food, friends and a small amount of sleep! Brilliant children having a brilliant time. Thank you to the teachers, staff, parents, children and the Mount Cook crew that made it so. 🥰

This morning 4SR looked around school on a tour of our new @PeteMcKee themed whole school art display . What great art we saw!

4SR have been hard at work learning about adverbial phrases!

Today 4SR had fun in the woods doing bark, tree rubbings.

Today, we were treated to some fresh apple juice that these gorgeous girls had made themselves! They talked us through each step of the making process and brought in two bottles of appley goodness and cups to share it with everybody in our class. What a treat! Thank you 🥰🥰🍎

This week, we celebrated Diwali with a day packed full of craft activities. Ask us what we did. We definitely had fun and learnt lots too!
