Every once in a while, the market makes such eye-popping violent directional moves that it gives traders/investors no chance of "getting in on a pullback".
There are extremely rare times when there is simply no pullback to buy.
These types of rare moves take place when the market gets caught so far offsides in one direction that when it senses a "fundamental shock" is taking place, market dynamics literally make a 180° turn in other direction before the average Joe can even figure what happened!
Now picture the actual $$ figures at stake when a cataclysmic event of this magnitude happens as market participants scramble to unwind short positions, re-load long positions, sidelined money looking to get on-board, etc etc! And this is truly what makes the market so fascinating....
