Look at our team from 32 years ago. Today’s team is on paper much better than the 1994 team. But the reality is that they are not. In 1994 many of those players lacked ability but always tried and gave 100%. So many of the current players should be ashamed of their poor attitudes

32 years ago at the third attempt (the other 2 games had been postponed due to Oldham’s mud bath of a pitch) we played a huge relegation battle at Oldham on a Thursday night. Spurs won 2 nil with goals from Vinny Samways and David Howells. We survived relegation by just 3 points.
