Congratulations to our own Klara Cloutier for winning Auburn Public Library's blackout poetry contest! Klara, a 7th grader at LMS, entered 2 poems into the contest last month and was deemed the winner last week. Way to go, Klara!

Attention 9th grade students who ordered an LMS yearbook: Your yearbooks are at LHS, and you can pick them up on your first day of school. Please see Ms. Masse in the Guidance office to pick up your yearbook.

We are in the process of creating cohort groups, LMS staff will be contacting families during the week of August 24th.

Due to COVID-19 shutdowns, the LMS yearbooks are delayed. As soon as we have more information about the delivery date, we will communicate a pick-up date with students and families. Thank you for your patience!

8th-Grade Celebrations are scheduled as follows: Haleakala Tuesday June 2nd at 6:30pm, Glacier Wednesday June 3rd at 6:30pm, and Denali Thursday June 4th at 6:30 pm. Links for the event will be shared with students.

The amazing staff volunteers at LMS got 326 laptops into the hands of students who already had laptop take-home privileges. Nice work!

Tuesday, March 31st, students with laptop take home privileges will be able to pick up their devices. Pick up times will be arranged by teams. Please see the included image for times and more details.

The LMS Tech Crew visited WCHS 6 last week and got a behind the scenes tour of how to news is produced. They left with lots of ideas of how to improve our school news broadcasts.

Team Haleakala completed their expeditionary unit, We Stand Up, exploring the Civil Rights Movement and learning about MLKJ's 6 guiding principles through argumentative writing and symbolic art (tessellations). We invite you to come see our students take a stand!
