Recent events, such as the arrest of Telegram CEO Pavel Durov and the conflict between @elonmusk and the Supreme Court of Brazil, highlight that content moderation on social media is becoming an increasingly contentious issue. This issue touches upon fundamental rights such as free speech, among others. In the future, content moderation will likely become one of the main categories in dispute resolution, an area we have been exploring for a long time at @Kleros_io. On May 31, I participated in a pioneering conference on dispute resolution in social media, held at the @LexTech_Inst at the @UniNeuchatel. The event featured various panels on AI and decentralized justice, exploring how these technologies can shape the future of social media! Videos of the talks have just been released. 🎙️Décision automatisée & personnalité juridique de l'IA 👀 Après avoir abordé la réglementation des technologies numériques avec @SophieWeerts et plus spécifiquement encore, les impacts sociétal et sanitaire de technologies telles que l’#IA ou l’#IoT au travail, nous replongeons à nouveau dans cette interview #TechTalk dans l’univers du Droit numérique, cette fois aux côtés de @FlorenceGuill20, professeur ordinaire de droit à l’@UniNeuchatel et Fondatrice du @LexTech_Inst, pour approfondir les enjeux liés à la prise de décision automatisée ou encore le concept de personnalité juridique appliqué aux algorithmes. Ces technologies et leur développement contribuent à créer de nouveaux espaces et de nouvelles pratiques, un nouveau cadre d’expression principalement numérique qui se traduit par de nouvelles applications du droit. Des organisations sociales qui s’appuient sur des technologies de cryptographie et ses déclinaisons, que sont la #blockchain ou encore la #tokenisation et dont certains des principes fondamentaux, tels que l’anonymisation, rendent quasi-inopérants les mécanismes juridiques traditionnels.
