@mkbendtsen A tip from someone who doesn’t like world, but wrote a thesis in it: place the figure + figure legend in the same text box. Then they won’t dissociate and you can format the text box to stay out/follow the line.

Our department is hosting a royal visit tomorrow! 👑🇩🇰 It has been remarkably effective in catalyzing the decoration of our new building. After sitting empty for four months, the landing on our floor actually look like a place you could hang out! #hygge

Yesterday was the first day at our physical MBG PhD conference at beautiful Sandbjerg. Last time was virtual, so it was great to be back to in-person!

@ShahsavarAzadeh I’ve had a few times with 1-3 passengers not wearing a mask, but nothing like that. That’s crazy 🤯 it’s definitely still required!

Has there been a revolution I missed?! Why 50% of the passengers + the driver are not wearing a face mask in #Aarhus?! I hope it’s just my bad luck and this bus!!!! Not the new rules?!

@ProteinMagnus @ditlevbrodersen @KU_forskeren Vi brugte et breakout room/ per poster på MBG PhD konferencen i år. Det var overall en succes, og de fleste kunne finde ud af at skifte mellem rummene. Så længe man har designet sin poster til landskabsmode, var det et glimrende format for os 😄

@ditlevbrodersen @KU_forskeren Jeg tror man skal holde teknikken så simpel som muligt. Mit forslag er en stor Zoom-sessions med et breakout room per poster. Jeg håber at vi kan prøve det af i IDPseminars regi senere på sommeren. 🤞

Back in the lab after teaching 2nd year students in a practical course. Apart from very long days it served as a great reminder of how much craftsmanship everyday work in the lab involves 💪🏼also forgot how magical simple cell work and western blots can seem to students 😅
