Can you guys believe A 1.4 cr populated city with 40L employees have 2800 bueses in hyderabad? It should have atleast 10,000 buses. Hyd is the only city with No AC buses. Its a shame. MMTS was not expanded by even 1KM also after telangana formation even metro not sanctioned.

The Union Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister #NarendraModi, today approved Phase-2(A) of the #Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project, but once again ignored Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase-2. Ironically, this decision came on the day Narendra Modi surpassed the 4,398-day tenure record of independent India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. #Telangana had hoped that on this landmark day, the Centre would finally clear #HyderabadMetro Phase-2. Instead, #Hyderabad was overlooked yet again. The Telangana government led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy fulfilled every condition stipulated by the #BJP-led Central government for approval of the Metro phase-2 project. The state govt even acquired #HydMetroRail Phase-1 from L&T for nearly ₹15,000 crore, as sought by the Centre. Revanth submitted phase-2 proposals to Centre. BJP govt is sitting on Hyd Metro expansion proposals for more than a year. Despite meeting all requirements, #HyderabadMetroPhase-2 remains pending. Why this continued neglect? In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Telangana gave 8 seats to the BJP. In the 2020 GHMC elections, Hyderabad gave the BJP 48 corporator seats.
