Unemployment is at historic lows, inflation is the lowest in the world, interest rates are coming down, real wages are the highest they've ever been. This has all been done under the Biden Administration. Trump will now take credit for all of it, before he destroys it all again.

My group chat of people in California is already blowing up with morons saying we should ditch "neoliberalism" and stop "Republican hugging." Even people who wanted better for this country are dead wrong and dead stupid. We shouldn't have closed the schools.

This morning feels like 2004 and Brexit. Some people will try to make it about what the Dems could have done better. But the truth will be that the right lied, it lied a lot, the media didn't provide guardrails, and stupid people voted for bad things for dumb reasons.

It's the remit of the Fed, which is (or has been, until now) an independent body. But all the idiots see is that the price of eggs went up for a while.

@MAGAt_zapper @Wilson__Valdez but this is also a pointless assessment. Inflation is at 2%. You cannot lower it without either A. raising taxes or B. cutting the minimum wage. It's literally impossible. You might as well say that they should have promised flying cars.

One thing that's for certain is that as much as people say they want 'policy' to help them (especially through bipartisanship), no one gives a shit when you actually do it. Biden got it done. Kamala had good policy to help people. Didn't matter one iota.

When was the last time the GOP passed ANY policy that people said they wanted? Never. They just want simplistic lies; "I will make everything cheaper and safer." Trump/GOP gives that to them. Policy is dead.

He was the worst President in history. And when he got voted out, he tried to stage a coup. Then he stole national secrets and sold the ones he didn't store in the bathroom. He was convicted of fraud, found liable of sexual assault and convicted of 34 felonies. He is half a billion dollars in debt, owned by God only knows who, and the biggest national security risk the nation has ever had. But at least he's not a Black woman.

Democracy is clarity. As a student of human behavior, I believe it reflects the will of the people. The race is not over but the blame game has begun. I will not let the pundits scapegoat Black voters. I will not let you scapegoat Arab American voters. Not even the shift of Latino voters. Donald Trump was supported by White men, White women, non college educated and college educated. Suburban White women and rural White women by a majority. It’s clear that my neighbors, coworkers, and friends have no problem with a convicted felon, convicted rapist, racist, and misogynist leading their government. They share his values. People show you who they are.
