@JojoAzurc We gave away MGS tokens to users as a daily reward (on top of our other forms of monetization) to encourage utilization of the platform. We did not sell MGS tokens to fund our development. We are burning the undistributed supply of MGS tokens not dumping them. How are we a rug?

@ShiningMan0925 We gave away MGS tokens to users as a daily reward to encourage utilization of our platform. We did not sell them to fund our development. You can use the token trasher xApp in Xumm to remove your unwanted tokens.

Thanks for your work. I am a little relieved to have an official announcement. I am still hoping for a big surprise, though. To all of you who I have gotten to know through MGsocial Thank you for all the fun times we had at the community.

@DenzelRamos20 We are going to make our Github repositories public and open source so that anyone who wants to keep the platform going will be able to.

@wilsontattoo1 Thank you for your support. We enjoyed seeing your content. We did everything we could to try to make the platform a success. We are opening up our Github code repositories so that the community will be able to continue running and developing the platform if they wish.

@rippleitinNZ @JojoAzurc We used MGS tokens as a daily reward to encourage utilization of our platform. Market downturn had little to no effect on our revenues. Our revenue was generated by Coil web monetization not by selling MGS tokens.

@MEGAMANXRP Let's see what @Xungible looks like when it launches. Maybe it will be so good that further action from us will be moot.

With MGSocial winding down it looks like there is another XRPL based social media platform that is launching soon for people to check out: xungible.com

We thank everyone who has supported us over the last 2+ years. As part of the winding down process we plan to open up all our github repositories and post them here so that if anyone in the community would like to keep the project going they will be able to do so.
